A judge has tossed a case brought by state GOP Chair Kelli Ward that sought to overturn Arizona’s vote in favor of Joe Biden for president.
On Dec. 4, the judge determined Ward failed to prove there had been widespread fraud or misconduct. But Ward has already said she’ll appeal to the Arizona Supreme Court. And yet another bid to void the results has been filed in federal court.
Meanwhile, a divide has formed among Republicans — those who believe without evidence that the election was stolen from Trump, and those who accept the result, albeit begrudgingly.
House Speaker Rusty Bowers, for example, expressly rejected the idea of a special session to change the outcome of the vote.
The Show spoke with Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services for more about this development.
