Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich Requests To Weigh In On Texas Lawsuit

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich filed legal papers with the U.S. Supreme Court requesting to submit an argument brief in a Texas lawsuit challenging the election results of multiple states.

Texas is seeking to void 62 electoral college votes from four battleground states, arguing potential for fraud occurred. If successful, Trump wins the election. However, the suit repeats a litany of false, disproven and unsupported allegations about mail-in ballots and voting in the four states.

While it’s unclear which side of the lawsuit Brnovich will defend, he will argue the topic of the importance of "election integrity,'' and he said he wants a quick decision in the case.

Brnovich has not joined 17 other Republican attorneys general who filed their own brief with the Supreme Court siding with Texas.
