Arizona State University is canceling spring break and ending the spring semester on May 1 due to anticipated public health conditions, the university announced Thursday. These changes apply to both on-campus and online students.
In October, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona announced they were canceling their breaks due to similar concerns.
ASU will continue monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and make adjustments as needed, the university said. In addition, all ASU faculty, staff and students are required to continue to comply with public health requirements, it said.
