Arizona Library Systems Receive Improvement Grants

The Arizona Secretary of State’s Office on Tuesday announced the approval of grants to four library systems.

More than $66,000 was approved by the Arizona Legislature through the State Grants-in-Aid program.

The money will be used for construction projects and renovations.

According to a press release, they include improving sidewalk access to the Cottonwood Public Library, a new annex building for storage at the Parker Public Library, renovation of the children’s area at the Snowflake-Taylor Public Library, and enhancements to restrooms and lighting at the Camp Verde Community Library.

The grants were approved by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State's Office.

More information on the library construction can be found at  azlibrary.gov/libdev.
