Elections, Emergency Powers Likely To Be Top Issues For AZ Lawmakers In 2021

Lawmakers across Arizona are gearing up for the 2021 legislative session, and both Democrats and Republicans are looking to pick up where they left off in 2020 — a session cut short by the pandemic.

That left a lot of legislation on the table and some unresolved business between lawmakers that has only been exacerbated during the pandemic and recent elections.

And that’s not likely to change before lawmakers take their places at the Capitol again in January.

The Show spoke with Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services for more about what to expect from the upcoming session.
