As more and more electric vehicles hit the roads in Arizona, a group of advocates held a virtual conference earlier this month to talk about where the market is, and what kinds of goals need to be set.
And Caryn Potter says Arizona is at a converging point right now, where decision makers, including regulators, lawmakers, utilities, third-party companies and more are having those kinds of conversations.
Potter is utility program manager for SWEEP — the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project — and says what’s needed now is ambitious planning.
The Show spoke with her for more about if there is a general consensus on trying to increase the number of EVs in Arizona as a general goal, and how to get there.
