How Gender Influences The Ways We Show And Expect Affection

The debate over nature versus nurture has been played out on a number of subjects over the years, but new research from the University of Arizona brings the question to a more personal level: Affection. And the results appear to be different for women than men.

Kory Floyd has spent more than 20 years researching how people share and communicate affection. Floyd is a professor of communication at the UA College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.

The Show spoke with him for more about his recent findings.
