The Valley was supposed to get some rain during the winter holiday season. That didn’t happen, although northern Arizona did receive some precipitation.
We were hoping to get some downpours during last summer’s monsoon, but that only materialized one night in late August.
Ultimately, 2020 was the second driest year on record in Phoenix.
