Fences Erected Around Arizona State Capitol Complex

In the aftermath of the Trump mob sieging the U.S. Capitol building, Arizona’s Department of Public Safety has put in security measures at the state Capitol building.

Bart Graves with DPS says nothing alarming has happened specifically at Arizona’s Capitol, but national tensions are cause for concern.

“Our policy at DPS is not to discuss specific security measures, but I should tell you that out of an abundance of caution fences have been erected around the State Capitol complex to protect property," Graves said.

Graves also says there is no estimate as to how long the fences will stay up. The new Legislative session starts next week.
