It’s opening day at the state Capitol, as lawmakers will be sworn in and Gov. Doug Ducey will give his annual State of the State address. But the day will look, sound and probably feel a lot different this year.
Legislators will be subject to health and safety protocols and the governor will give his speech not from the House floor, but via video from his office.
