The Show regularly checks in with the Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about current issues facing the state and the region — featured in columns on the newspaper’s op-ed pages.

Last week’s events in the U.S. Capitol Complex stunned many Americans in a display that shook some of the country’s long-cherished foundations. And when it became clear that certain lawmakers — including a few of Arizona’s own state legislators — endorsed or refused to condemn the efforts, serious discussions about the next steps began.

Greater Phoenix Leadership has come out with a strong statement against those legislators and others, which also ran as a column on azcentral. The Show spoke with the Republic’s Phil Boas about that and the future of Arizona’s Republican leadership.
