Gov. Doug Ducey has announced he will be in Washington, D.C., next week for the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
President Donald Trump said earlier this month he would not attend the Jan. 20 event.
In a statement Thursday morning, Ducey said “In America, we believe in the peaceful transition of power. It doesn't matter who you supported in the election — once the election is over, we put country before party.”
