Rain And Snow Coming To Arizona This Week

Multiple storms are expected to bring rain and snow to parts of Arizona this week.

Meteorologist David Byers of the National Weather Service Flagstaff says snow will begin falling on Tuesday.

“We’ll have snow showers mostly north of I-40 Tuesday beginning in the morning and they will be more to the east, say east of I-17, Highway 89,” Byers said.

Meteorologist Isaac Smith from National Weather Service Phoenix says the wet weather will remain for a while, and cautions drivers to watch their speed. He says roads may be slicker than what drivers were used to under dryer conditions.
