Arizona Lawmakers To Debate Reducing Governor's Emergency Powers

Some Republican state lawmakers have been critical of the emergency order Gov. Doug Ducey issued last spring because of the coronavirus pandemic, saying it’s been going on for far too long. And Jan. 25, they’ll start the process of trying to end it. 

That is just one of the issues that’ll be up for debate at the state Capitol in the coming days.

For a weekly look-ahead at goings-on with the legislature, The Show spoke with Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
