This week, the Arizona Senate Education Committee voted in favor of a bill that seeks to make low-income students eligible for Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account program.
If it passes, it’s estimated that about 60% of the state's public school students would be able to use taxpayer dollars to fund their education at a private or parochial school, or even homeschooling or a learning pod.
