Phil Boas: How Sen. Kyrsten Sinema's Approach Has Left Both Democrats And Republicans With Questions

The Show regularly checks in with the Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about current issues facing the state and the region — featured in columns on the newspaper’s op-ed pages.

The 2018 campaign that Kyrsten Sinema ran to become Arizona’s first Democratic U.S. senator in more than 20 years emphasized the word “independent.” And since Sinema’s election, she has followed through on that approach. But that has caused her problems with both Democrats and Republicans.

Laurie Roberts of the Republic wrote about that over the weekend, and Phil Boas, the paper’s editorial page editor, spoke with The Show for more about Roberts’ column.
