Banner Health Eases Visitor Restrictions

COVID-19 has made going to hospitals and urgent cares a largely solo affair.

Now, Banner Health has announced it is easing its visitor restrictions.

Banner now permits one visitor per day for each of its in-patient clients.

Out-patient facilities like urgent cares, clinics and emergency rooms also will allow one companion per visitor.

In-patient visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Visitors must go straight to and from the patient's room and bring a mask to wear throughout the visit.

They also should fill out electronic health screening forms beforehand and be ready to stand in line outside for a health check before entering the facility.

As always, people who feel sick should stay home, especially if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
