Tributes often flow out for people who have accomplished great things but who have either passed away, or their time in the spotlight had finished decades before.
Arizona Theatre Company is going against the grain with its RomeroFest, which features virtual performances of plays written by Elaine Romero, the troupe’s playwright-in-residence — whose career and creativity are still very much pumping at a high level.
The Show spoke with Romero for about her career and how the pandemic has affected her work and theater itself.
