Northern Arizona University is currently planning its fall semester to be fully in-person.
NAU becomes the second of Arizona’s state schools to announce plans for an in-person semester. Arizona State University made a similar announcement last month.
NAU President Rita Cheng says the university will continue working with public health officials and change plans if needed. In 2020, ASU announced a fully in-person plan for the fall semester before changing to a hybrid model.
As we have done since the beginning of the pandemic, we will celebrate with our Spring 2021 graduates through a virtual commencement ceremony, keeping the safety of loved ones and those in our community in mind. pic.twitter.com/izENbWAvDu
