Effort Trying To Help Affordable Housing Crisis, One Home Sale At A Time

The lack of affordable housing continues to be a significant problem in the Valley and statewide.

A little more than a year ago, The Show spoke with Howard Epstein about a unique way to try to help solve the problem.

Epstein works at Bank of America and is the founder of the Arizona Housing Fund. His idea: Get homebuyers to donate $25 when they closed escrow on their new homes; that money would then be used to help build more affordable housing.

The Show spoke with Epstein again for an update on how things are going.
