Maricopa County Plans Pop-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Events For Adults 55 And Older

Harmon Park, south of downtown Phoenix, is operating as a COVID-19 vaccination site March 17-23. Any Phoenix resident 55 or older qualifies for an appointment.

The event is for first doses of the Moderna vaccine. Appointments are required and participants will have to show proof of age to get a shot.

Maricopa County Public Health is partnering with the University of Arizona and the City of Phoenix to operate the site. The county is opening registration for appointment slots each day as the event goes on. The registration website is  podvaccine.azdhs.gov

The county is planning a similar pop-up vaccination event at Glendale Community College March 25-31.

These pop-up events are not the only options for getting a vaccine. Nearly 300 pharmacies, clinics, and drive-through  sites across Maricopa County are now vaccinating eligible Arizonans.
