Garden Center Owner Sees Jump In Arizonans Looking To Grow Their Own Marijuana Plants

When Arizona voters approved Preposition 207 last year, it not only allowed residents to buy marijuana legally from dispensaries — it also gave them the green light to grow it themselves.

The law allows Arizonans to grow up to six plants at home for personal use, as long as those plants are kept out of the reach of minors by a lock or some kind of security device.

To get a sense of how popular the grow-your-own option is so far, The Show spoke with Ryan Jerrell, owner of Dig it Gardens and Dig it Design in Phoenix.
