The state Department of Health Services reported 604 new COVID-19 infections and no recorded deaths Monday, but there is typically a weekend lag on data.
Hospital cases continue to decline, reaching their lowest level since September with intensive care unit use overall at 84%.
And the number of vaccinations continues to rise. More than 3 million doses have been administered.
These trends led Gov. Doug Ducey to relax the state’s COVID-19 restrictions. That includes ending local mask mandates, except in government buildings or on public transportation. Businesses can now open to full capacity and events of all kinds no longer require government approval.
