100 Degrees Forecast For Easter In Phoenix

Following Thursday's high of 95 degrees, the National Weather Service in Phoenix predicts a heat wave for Easter weekend.

Meteorologist Marvin Percha says Friday will be a little cooler at 92 degrees, but by Easter it’s predicted to hit 100.

“Our warmest Easter on record is 100 degrees that day, it was on April 15, 1990, so we would have a chance on Sunday to possibly tie that record," Percha said.

Percha urges everyone to stay hydrated, take breaks, and utilize cooling centers and air-conditioning.
