Pima County is allowed to keep its mask mandate in place; an informal opinion by state Attorney General Mark Brnovich says the governor cannot use his executive power to stop cities, towns and counties from requiring people wear masks.
Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff are also among the cities that have said they will keep their mask mandates in place, despite the governor ending them last month.
