GOP Lawmakers Looking To Move Arizona Toward Flat Tax

April 20 is the 100th day of the legislative session, which is when, in theory, lawmakers wrap up their work for the year.

In practice, however, the session is still going strong, and the Arizona Legislature still has to do the one thing they’re required by the state constitution to do: approve a new state budget.

The Show got an update on the progress made toward a new spending plan from Rep. Regina Cobb, a Republican from Kingman, and chair of the House Appropriations Committee.
