Secretary Of State Hobbs: Election Experts Should Be Allowed To Observe Senate Audit

The new judge overseeing legal proceedings dealing with the state Senate’s audit of Maricopa County ballots and election equipment ruled April 28 that the procedures being used in that process cannot be kept secret.

That denied a bid by the Senate and Cyber Ninjas to keep that information private. And unless an appeals court judge disagrees, it’ll become public April 29.

The judge also gave the parties a deadline to negotiate a deal for election experts in the Secretary of State’s office to observe the proceedings.

The Show spoke with Secretary of State Katie Hobbs to talk about all of this.
