It’s certainly been a difficult year for the restaurant industry. The pandemic has cost us some of the best restaurants in town and countless restaurant workers lost their jobs.
But things are just starting to turn around as more Arizonans get vaccinated and return to things we all miss, like eating out.
Andi Berlin is the new restaurant critic at the Arizona Republic, and she’s starting the job at this interesting moment in time for the restaurant world. She’s coming up from Tucson to fill the role, and The Show spoke with her about how this is something of a homecoming for her.
