Grand Canyon National Park has announced that it will open the North Rim for the season.
Every year, the Grand Canyon closes its northern entrance for the winter. That part of the park typically gets more snowfall and fewer visitors.
The gates will reopen on May 15 to start the 2021 season.
The North Rim lodge, trail rides, campground, bookstore and food services will also be open, though some services, such as the laundry and shower, will not be available this year.
The North Rim hiker shuttle will also be unavailable.
