She has been a Hotshot, Coyote and now as a Puma, Emily White has never faced a more difficult softball season than this one.
At the end of last season, an off-roading accident in Flagstaff left White with a choice: keep her left foot or keep her lifestyle.
She chose amputation.
As White returns to the field at Paradise Valley Community College, her coaches say her positive attitude is driving her recovery.
