The attorney for Arizona Senate Republicans has been threatening to subpoena Maricopa County officials, including elected officials, to turn over more equipment related to last year’s election.
Specifically, the Senate wants certain passwords and routers so the companies they hired to audit the presidential and U.S. Senate elections in Maricopa County can examine them.
The county has said it doesn’t have the passwords to some of the voting machines, because Dominion Voting Systems, which owns the machines, has them. As for the routers, Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone is among those saying the county would put itself at risk if it were to turn those over.
The Show spoke with Sheriff Penzone and asked about his concerns about turning over the routers.
