Many of us have dreamed about being on a game show, whether it’s because we grew up watching them or for the chance to win money and prizes.
More than a decade ago, then 10-year-old Ben Mohler was selected to appear on a program called “Our Little Genius” to be an expert on dinosaurs. But rather than result in taking home cash and home appliances, Ben’s experience introduced him to behind-the-scenes manipulation by producers and led to him having a very different view of the world.
Senior reporter John D’Anna of the Arizona Republic profiled Ben Mohler, and The Show spoke with him about what he learned.
