FEMA Mobile Clinics Continue COVID-19 Vaccinations In Arizona, Around U.S.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is dispatching mobile units to places around the country that lack pharmacies, clinics and other vaccination sites. Since May, two units have been in Pima County.

Doctors and nurses are staffing mobile clinics throughout the U.S. in states like Arizona, Nevada and Kentucky.

In Pima County, FEMA mobile clinics are administering Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines through June 14. All second doses will be provided by the end of the month.

Through Wednesday, FEMA units are on two different campuses at Pima Community College. They will move to new locations Friday.

As of Monday, Arizona has overall vaccinated just over 46%of its population.
