As of June 1, more than 3.3 million Arizonans are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 — that’s more than 46% of our population.
Arizona is still in the bottom half of states by vaccination rates. And more than one in 10 adults nationwide say they will probably or definitely not get vaccinated.
Arizonans cited concerns over side effects, mistrust in the vaccines and many people said they just don’t believe they need to be vaccinated.
Nearly another 6% of Arizona adults are unsure whether they’ll get vaccinated with most saying they’ll wait and see if it’s safe.
