A southern Arizona economic development group has put out a new plan for post-pandemic recovery.
The Pivot Playbook aims to serve as a roadmap to help define the region’s economy in the coming years.
It was compiled by Sun Corridor Inc. which encompasses Pima, Pinal, Cochise and Santa Cruz counties. It includes areas of focus like recruiting talent and businesses to the area, workforce training and development and recovery in the area’s tourism industry.
Joe Snell is president and CEO of Sun Corridor. The Show spoke with him and started the conversation by asking how different he expects the economic development strategy for southern Arizona to be going forward, relative to what it was before the pandemic.
