The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ostensibly a business organization made up of more than 100 members — leaders of small businesses and large corporations. But the chamber has also been — and continues to be — one of the most influential public policy groups at the state Capitol and among elected officials.
At a time when the state’s economy appears to be in a strong recovery mode nearly a year and half into the pandemic, the electorate is also deeply divided on how to proceed on a number of fronts.
It’s in this environment that Danny Seiden takes over as the new president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce. The Show spoke with him to learn about how he's adjusting to the position and how he would assess the state's current business climate.
