Arizona Woman Claims National Hot Dog Eating Title

If you enjoyed a hot dog on the Fourth of July, you weren’t the only one. An Arizona woman claimed a national hot dog eating title on Independence Day.

Michelle Lesco, of Tucson, ate 30 3/4 hot dogs in 10 minutes in New York’s Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest to earn the women’s trophy.

The men's title went to Joey Chestnut of Indiana. Chestnut ate 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes to claim his 14th victory.
