Gilbert Man Arrested In Utah On Human Trafficking Charges

The Utah Attorney General’s Office says it arrested a man from Gilbert on charges related to human trafficking.

A special unit that focuses on crimes against undocumented residents, working with the Mexican Consulate in Salt Lake City, arrested the owner of Midway West Amusements in Utah, on labor trafficking charges.

Thirty-one-year-old Jordan Jensen of Gilbert was charged with three counts Human Trafficking, a second-degree felony, and nine counts Possession of Another’s Identity Documents, a third-degree felony.

The Utah AG says more than 20 Mexican nationals were forced to work against their will.

All the workers were in the United States legally, with H2B Visas and Passports that had been kept from them to prevent them from leaving.
