Arizona Public Service is still working to restore power to all customers near 35th and Peoria avenues in Phoenix after wind snapped a line of power poles over the weekend.
At one point, more than 14,000 homes were without power on Saturday evening. APS was able to reroute lines and install "temporary cables on Sunday to carry power to all remaining residential customers," according to an APS press release.
APS plans to start installing power lines on the 14 new poles on Monday evening.
Thirty commercial customers are still without power, which is expected to be restored by Wednesday morning.
