The City of Flagstaff has begun a 60-day public review process for an amendmentto the city’s Regional Plan 2030.

If approved, the amendment will create four new policies, among other changes. One such policy would be to “improve the ability of vulnerable community members to adapt and thrive amidst the pressures of climate change.”

In a release, officials say the amendment will update the “climate action goals and policies to align with the recently-adopted Flagstaff Carbon Neutrality Plan.” The review process ends September 13.

The first information session is Tuesday, July 20, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm, on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEvcOmspzwtGNXt4KTz34RJ5Nd2SuLPd597
