Arizona DES: Return-To-Work Bonuses Application Portal Open

The state of Arizona has launched a return-to-work bonus program.  Qualifying Arizonans could receive a one time bonus of up to $2,000 for reentering the workforce.

Back in May, Gov. Ducey and the Department of Economic Security announced this $300 million program, using federal resources, to help transition Arizonans out of unemployment and into the workforce.

On a first-come, first-served basis, eligible Arizonans will receive payment if they acquired a job between May 13 and Sept. 6 later this year and then worked 320 hours or more over 10 consecutive weeks. They must also no longer be receiving unemployment.

Tasya Peterson with the DES says the bonus will be awarded once the department reviews the application and determines the person has met the requirements.
