How The Pac-12 Conference Can Compete With A Bigger, Better SEC

The realm of major college athletics has become even more competitive as schools need to figure out the new rules around student-athletes being able to benefit from the use of their name, image and likeness. And in college football — the true money machine in amateur athletics — consolidation is speeding up and could lead to even more changes to the landscape.

That includes the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma joining the Southeastern Conference (SEC), already the most successful conference for football.

How could that affect the Pac-12, which includes Arizona State University and the University of Arizona?

Jon Wilner writes the Pac-12 Hotline column for the San Jose Mercury News. He has some suggestions for what the Pac-12 should do, and The Show spoke with him to hear his ideas.
