'Port Of Mars': ASU Professor's Game Imagines Social Relationships In Space

NASA’s Perseverance rover continues to send incredible images of Mars back to earth, and scientists are excited about some of the discoveries being made during the mission. That has some people wondering if there could ever eventually be a human colony on Mars.

An Arizona State University professor has been thinking about that, but not just the scientific and technical aspects of making it happen.

Lance Gharavi — an associate professor in the School of Music, Dance and Theatre at ASU — is the developer of a game called "Port of Mars." The Show spoke with Gharavi and asked what inspired the game.
