The Arizona Coyotes, and any other professional sports group hoping to build a new home and entertainment district in Tempe, have until early September to submit a bid.
The city has extended the deadline for pitches to redevelop nearly 50 acres of land at Priest Drive and Rio Salado Parkway.
Officials clarified that proposals should come with a full public safety plan that includes an estimated cost for police, fire and medical rescue.
