Center For Biological Diversity Sues EPA Over Agricultural Pollution Regulations

The Center for Biological Diversity has filed suit against the EPA for failing to control air pollution from agriculture operations.

The lawsuit centers on a revision of air quality rules by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.

The center says the new guidelines would lead to unhealthy levels of emissions from agricultural equipment and other pollutants, and the federal government failed to hold Arizona accountable for that.

Air pollution has been linked to cancer and asthma. It is also harmful to plants and animals.
