Abe Hamadeh is a former county prosecutor with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. According to his website, he is an intelligence officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is running on election security – Hamadeh says he would not have certified the 2020 election results – border protection, gun rights, critical race theory and so-called cancel culture.
Kris Mayes

A former Arizona Corporation Commissioner, Mayes is running unopposed as the Democratic nominee for attorney general. A former Republican, Mayes changed her voter registration during the Trump administration. Mayes says her priorities include fighting consumer fraud, protecting public education, and preserving the state’s natural resources. “There are big companies, politicians, and government agencies that get out of line and mistreat people,” Mayes said in a press release. “The Attorney General’s main job is to use the law to protect you and your family from bad actors."
