The Paralympics wrapped up on Sunday, and 11 athletes represented Arizona throughout the games.
Of the 11 Team USA athletes representing Arizona, seven are coming home with medals.
Glendale’s Alyssa Seeley won her second straight gold in Triathlon, going from fourth to first in the final leg of the race.
Lora Webster of Phoenix and Whitney Dosty of Tucson contributed to Team USA’s gold in sitting volleyball.
Three Arizonans were on the silver medal wheelchair rugby team, including Tucson’s Josh Wheeler, who was the team’s leading scorer in the final.
Phoenix’s Ryan Pinney won a bronze medal in the cycling mixed relay.
