U.S. 60 between Superior and Miami will be closed from Sept. 12-17.
The Arizona Department of Transportation, in a release, says it plans “to realign the roadway to meet the new Pinto Creek Bridge.”
The closure is expected to cause an extra hour of travel and detours on to State Route 77 and State Route 177 through Winkleman.
Those with destinations within the closed segment will be allowed to pass through, but no vehicles will be allowed between Top-of-the-World and Pinto Valley Mine Road.
