A recent pollfound 59% of likely voters surveyed were against a new law that bans mask mandates.
Chris Kotterman with the Arizona School Boards Association says “The people who are raising the most, making the most noise essentially and creating an issue out of what we consider to be good public health measures are really the minority, and they are a very loud minority that is making a big splash."
The poll was funded by ASBA and the Arizona Public Health Association and conducted by the public affairs firm HighGround.
It also found nearly 62% of likely voters oppose Gov. Doug Ducey’s decision to provide schools with grant funding only if they offer in-person instruction, and they don't enforce mask mandates.
