BLM Seeks Comment On Bears Ears National Monument Site

The Bureau of Land Management would like to make changes at a popular recreation area in southern Utah.

Although the Trump administration reduced the size of Bears Ears National Monument significantly, the area continues to see visitors, and House on Fire is one of its most popular sites.

Landscape photographers like to capture the brilliant colors of the Pueblo granary.

The BLM says it has seen a steady increase in traffic since 2015.

The agency would like to upgrade the trailhead with signs, picnic tables and other facilities.

The deadline for comment is Oct. 11.
